Mar García , General Director of Grass Roots, will lead the new Board of Directors of Associated Spanish Event Agencies ( AEVEA ) 2021-2022 , once elected at the General Assembly of Partners. She continues as President for 2021, accompanied by Carlos Lorenzo , CEO of Duo Emotion Brand, who assumes the Vice President. Andrés Virto , Director of Madison, moves from the Vice Presidency to a member, continuing to be very involved in the association. The Board of Directors is made up of twelve people, where ten remain from the previous Board of Directors, joining Rudolf Rannegger , Deputy General Manager of MCI Spain and César González , CEO of Somos Brand Experience Firm.

New territories have been reached, such as Córdoba, Badajoz and Málaga, and representation has been reinforced in Vitoria, Barcelona and Madrid. 2020 has been a year where the objectives planned at the beginning have had to be reformulated , to focus on supporting and guiding the partner legally, with inspiring and useful training to be able to make the appropriate decisions that will help face the situation. Raising our voices towards society and institutions to be recognized as one of the most affected industries and obtain measures that help cope with the situation has been another of the maxims in 2020. And working to promote empathy with brands to promote recovery of the events industry. For 2021, Mar García explains that “ This year we will invest in strengthening AEVEA's global communication strategy (media, website, social networks...) and in expanding the work of technical advice to partners .
